INTRO

In this year, 2007, the "NEW" 7 Wonders of the World will be (have been) elected. A pal from My forum called Albericht reminded me of this historical fact by posting a Major thread about this In my forum

Ofcourse for us AoM TT lovers there are only 7 true wonders and these are the 7 Wonders of the ancient world

The Great Pyramid of Gizeh
The Hanging Gardens of Babylon
The Temple of Artemis at Epheseus
The Statue of Zeus at Olympia
The Mausoleum at Halicarnassus
The Colossus of Rhodes
The Lighthouse of Alexandria

You can find all the info about these 7 wonders of the ancient world here

But since 2007 is a special Wonder year it is about time that we ELECT THE 7 WONDERS OF THE AGE OF MYTHOLOGY WORLD

So this is why this first thread is set up.
In this thread a LONGLIST of AoM Wonders will be determined

NEXT STEPS

The entire election will go like this

The 7 Wonders threads will be posted in The Vandhaal forum and the AomH scenario design forum
Both locations will be the only official locations
First the LONGLIST threads ( this thread) will be posted to determine as much as possible candidates
From this Longlist a short list will be created by me.....again special SHORTLIST threads will be created
The shortlist will be cut down to 20 options........and AoM lovers can vote for their 7 favourites which will be the final 7 wonders from the AoM world
Last but not least the final 7 Wonders from the aom world will be presented in a last thread which will go down in Age of Mythology history.
Maybe if I am not too lazy I will create a special page on my webbie for it
In The Vandhaal gallery a special 7 wonders album has been set up...all wonders will be collected there
Updating will happen when I am in the mood and find the time
time span of this election.....we will see
It should be obvious what can be seen as an AoM wonder and not..........I will decide if suggestions are allowed or not...NO discussion
NO MODS are allowed in the wonders...only original aom stuff.....reyks/nottuds editor stuff and custom light is allowed !
I am not super strict...but mods which change entire buildings are NOT allowed
other details will maybe follow in the future

nope sorry i did not mean those kind of eyecandy screenies

By location i mean......the location in the aom world

for example: greece, tartarus, germania central europe, egypts, outer space, valhalla............etc etc etc thats what i mean with location

I meant eyecandy screenies with some kind of construction ( see album)

LoL.......... I also could not add my bruenhillde or wonders of the deep eyecandy screenies

So yes the screenies should be a little bit in the filed of those real 7 wonders of the world

Ofcourse that screenie by paperfriend is awesome....i have had already set up an album for him so i will upload that pic also to his album

they see tabels or the eifel tower as a wonder of the world Confused

at least Elflesh saw something much prettier as a wonder

he wanted to suggest pepsidudes NUDE gaia mod...... I almost added it because ...well beautifull girls are wonders of the world

but no ...i did not even add bruennhilde or regi so also no nude gaia mod

btw no mods are allowed....only original stuff and reyks/nottuds editor stuff + custome lightings ( ofocurse i am not so super strict....but no mods which change a building int a lord of the rings building or a a norse hill fortress into a frost building....or trees into candycanes)

p.s I mixed the album a bit up so not all pictures are shown like I haved added them.......now the stuff from various creators is more mixed...so the imgae itself gets more important

there are things from swift sampson in the long list

ofocurse not his amaing nature and situations shots but there are constructions by him

lol counts also for my stuff........ i have harly any man/godmade constructions

most is well just a story on a location

its not that aom is mostly buildings but...that suits best to the 7 wonders thingy

so yes the other eyecandy stuff will not be part of this ...which leaves also out the most of my work
